Finding a Safe Space Despite the Rules
“When I got kicked out for being who I am, I didn’t know where to go. I was scared, tired, and just needed somewhere that wouldn’t judge me. I didn’t always like the rules at RAIN—real talk, sometimes I felt like they were doing too much. But once I saw it was really about keeping us all safe and helping us move forward, I got it.
